Meet Jo, your local We Love Pets manager

Jo lives in Trowbridge, with her family, Bruno the dog, her guinea pigs and very large collection of Koi Carp! She adores all animals and has a lifetime of experience in looking after a variety of pets, especially larger breed dogs. She is a local lady and very familiar with all the best dog walking routes around Trowbridge, Bradford-on-Avon and the surrounding villages.

As well as being City and Guilds qualified in dog walking, Jo is police checked, pet first aid trained and fully insured for your peace of mind. 

Jo will take your dog for a walk with plenty of fun and exercise, and they will return home exercised and happy, ready for a towel down, treats and fresh water. Our dog walks are fun, safe and personal. We don’t pack walk – for many reasons this can be stressful for the dogs – instead we can pair your dog with another friendly doggy pal to walk with, or we can offer individual dog walks if your dog prefers to be walked on their own.

Come and have your dog groomed and pampered by our friendly, City & Guilds trained team who are used to handling dogs of all sizes, breeds and coats. Why not have your dog groomed while they are with us for dog walks or dog boarding? It couldn't be easier, we can even pick up your dog and drop them off for you too. 
From a full groom to soothing honey and oatmeal massages, a wash and go or a quick nail clip – we'll take extra special care of your pooch and help them enjoy their special preening experience with us.

No Pack Walking Policy

We are passionate about giving your dog a physically demanding, stimulating and above all, safe dog walk which is why we adopt a no pack walking policy as part of our promise to deliver the best pet care possible. 

By walking a maximum of four dogs at one time:

  • We can easily keep a trained eye on all dogs.
  • Safety for dogs and their walkers is kept in check.
  • We can walk dogs who get along together.
  • A good balance of confidence and socialisation is achieved.
  • Smaller groups reduce the risk of illnesses or disease spreading.
  • We can easily stop and pick up any dog poop.

 

We only ever use regulated dog walkers who are vetted by us personally and background checked too. All dog walkers are pet first aid trained.
